Thank you for taking the time to join the SOSTSL community's "2020 SAMSHA Annual National Prevention Week" Educational Campaign. Our Annual National Prevention Week is observed from Mother's Day to the following Saturday. SOSTSL will participate annually in this event be by promoting and distributing SOSTSL Customized "Opioid Awareness Workbooks" in interactive pdf format to schools throughout the country. Our customized Opioid Awareness Workbooks serve three functions:

Educate students about the dangers of prescription opioids and the ensuing conditions of Opioid Use Disorder and Dopamine Deficiency,Honor the memory of your loved one Break the stigma against people suffering from Opioid Use Disorder and Dopamine Deficiency.

Our "Build A Workbook" educational outreach campaign is operating in BETA mode. We welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have to make the workbook building process run smoothly. Please contact us at our FB Group page here.

To build your own workbook, please complete the following nine (9) steps:
  1. Log in to SOSTSL.ORG from a desktop or laptop; you'll need to type your changes, approximately 1/4th of the story, and should have a large screen to view your document properly
  2. "Select All" and "Copy" the entire text of the workbook found in the right-hand column below.
  3. "Paste" the entire "copied" text (from the "Dedication" to the "end of the story") into a NEW "Word" document.
  4. Go through the story, from beginning to end, and REPLACE ALL the personal information about "Renee", which is identified in GREEN FONT, with your loved one's information. Use the Search and Replace function of the Word app to replace the First Name throughout the story along with the pronouns if necessary (from her/she to him/he.)
  5. Save your Word document on your computer.
  6. "Select All" and "Copy" the entire text from your customized Word document, from "Your Dedication to the end of your story."
  7. "Paste" your text into the large field found on the left-hand side of our webpage.
  8. Upload two photos of your loved one for the cover page.
  9. Select the "Submit" button.
  10. Our staff will export your story into a PDF file that will contain the customized cover page and the Quiz.Please do the following:
